We make your furry friends happy. And we ship worldwide!
Hello there! If you’re looking to treat your little friends to custom-sized liners from Guineaqueen, you’re in the right place. Taking accurate measurements is key to making sure your new liners fit like a dream. Let’s get down to it, shall we?
First things first, let’s make sure your enclosure is clean and clear of any objects. Think of it as preparing a blank canvas for a masterpiece.
Length Matters: Extend your tape measure from one end of the enclosure to the other horizontally. Keep it straight and level. Record the measurement in inches or centimeters.
Don’t Forget the Width: Now, measure from one side to the other side horizontally. Just like before, keep that tape measure straight and level.
Note: If your cage has a curved bottom, try to measure the length and width slightly above the cage floor. A steady hand is key here.
Double-check your measurements to ensure accuracy. We aim for a perfect fit rather than a situation where it's 'almost right.'
After verifying the measurements, make sure to write them down.
To prevent hay and droppings from going under the liner, it is recommended to use a slightly oversized liner that creates a fold up the cage walls. Adding around 6 cm (or 2.4 inches) of extra material to each side of the liner ensures it covers the cage floor and walls adequately and prevents any debris from escaping underneath.
And don't worry, Guineaqueen will add extra size to the liner automatically to accommodate any potential shrinkage.
You did it! With measurements in hand, head over to our custom liner order page. Choose either centimeters (link here) or inches (link here), and pop those measurements in. The system will automatically calculate the cost. Once you place the order, the Guineaqueen team will roll up their sleeves and get to work crafting your liners.
Congratulations, you’ve successfully navigated the path to perfect measurements. Your furry friends are just a hop, skip, and a jump away from enjoying their new luxurious liners.
And remember, if you have any questions or need help wrestling your tape measure, we’re here for you!
