At Guineaqueen, we take pride in delivering our products to customers across the globe. We ship from Slovenia, European Union (EU). For all orders to non-EU countries, please be aware these are considered International and may be subject to import fees, customs duties and/or taxes. The customer is responsible for these costs.

Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of your order and will be calculated at checkout.

Your order will be shipped from our studio in Mali Ločnik, Turjak, Slovenia from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Once dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking information. For international orders, delivery times may vary due to customs processing in your country.

We use DHL for international packages, DPD for EU packages, and Posta Slovenije for local shipments. Please note we do not ship to P.O. boxes.

What are pee pads for?

Pee pads are specifically designed to absorb moisture in guinea pig cages. They are placed over larger fleece liners in areas where your pets frequently urinate, such as the kitchen area, corners, and under wooden houses. These pads help in keeping the cage liner cleaner for longer periods. They can also be used as lap pads for direct interaction with your pets. When pee pads become dirty or saturated, simply replace and wash them for reuse.

Why are there different sizes of pee pads available?

The variety in pee pad sizes caters to their diverse uses. Classic pee pads are the most versatile. Mini pee pads are ideal for placing under water bottles to absorb drips. Jumbo pee pads work well during bonding time with your guinea pigs and fit perfectly in C&C cages. Corner pee pads are designed to protect the often-soiled corners of the cage. For tunnels, we have tunnel-shaped pee pads that fit snugly inside, and round pee pads are just the right size for placing in hideaways and beds. How do I use the GuineaQueen® fleece pee pads?

Remove droppings and straw daily. When the pad becomes dirty or saturated, replace it. Wash it in a washing machine at up to 40 degrees Celsius, and let it air dry. After drying, it’s ready for reuse.

How often should I wash the pee pads?

This depends on your guinea pigs’ usage. Generally, wash the pee pads when they appear dirty or saturated. Frequent use or more guinea pigs might require more regular washing.

Can the pee pads be machine washed?

Yes, GuineaQueen® pee pads are machine washable. Use normal detergent and water up to 40 degrees Celsius. Although they are safe for the dryer, we recommend air drying to extend their lifespan.

How do I handle odor control with the pee pads?

Our pee pads are designed with materials that minimize odor. However, regular washing and timely replacement of the pads when soiled are essential for effective odor control.

What should I do if the pee pad is completely soaked?

Replace the soaked pee pad with a clean one. You may need to increase the frequency of changes if they consistently become fully saturated.

Can the pee pads be used outside the cage?

Absolutely! GuineaQueen® pee pads are versatile and can be used in play areas, on your lap, or anywhere your guinea pig enjoys spending time outside the cage.

How can I prevent my washing machine from getting filled with hair and hay?

Before washing, vacuum and brush off as much hair and hay as possible from the liners and pee pads. For added protection, use the GuineaQueen® washing bag, which traps hair and hay while allowing effective cleaning.

Are pee pads pre-washed?

No, our liners are not pre-washed. This allows you to use your preferred detergent and ensures the product’s cleanliness and personal comfort.

What if my guinea pigs chew on the pee pad?

In case your guinea pigs begin to chew on a pee pad, it’s advisable to offer them alternative chewing options, like chew toys. Consistent chewing may lead to damage to the pee pad. If such behavior continues despite providing alternatives, it might be necessary to stop using the pee pad. Remember, while our pee pads are made to be durable, they are not chew-proof. Introducing different chew toys can help deter your pets from gnawing on the pee pads.
